Nashville Tops America's 15 Friendliest Cities List

When choosing a new city to live, work, find love or raise a family, friendliness can prove a major decision point. To that end, Travel+Leisure magazine annually compiles and releases its list of America’s Favorite Cities, including those that offer the highest friendliness factors. This year, the highly read publication asked readers to rank 38 of the nation’s major metropolitan areas for sought-after features such as great pizza joints, swanky wine bars, eclectic coffee houses, pedestrian-friendly streets, luxury shopping districts with cool, independent boutiques and picnic table-equipped food truck pods. Dominating the 2016 list are metro areas in the country’s heartland, plus an artsy Southwest locale and one tropical island destination. Did your current or future hometown make the list?
